Classroom Speaker Request Form

We are NOW accepting Classroom Requests for HAW 2019!

Click the picture above for more information.

HAW is a week-long series of events dedicated to increasing awareness of homelessness on college campuses as well as reducing stigma to students facing homelessness. Each year, students who participate are surprised to find out that their fellow students struggle with homelessness, and often are surprised by the numbers of students that are affected at KSU.  Some events are donation drives or fundraisers, and some are simulations or informational sessions targeted at awareness and stigma reduction.

Help us spread the word about homelessness by hosting a Classroom Presentation.  Each year we ask you to allow community persons to come into your classrooms and speak to your students about homelessness and hunger. The guest speakers are individuals who either work with homeless persons or have been homeless or hungry at one time.

Speakers will be available:
Kennesaw Campus: Monday, Nov 4th or Thursday, Nov 7th
Marietta Campus: Tuesday, November 5th or Wednesday, Nov 6th

Please complete the form below to request a presentation.  Should you need multiple presentations, please complete one form for each class time.  Thank you!

**We are only able to accmmodate requests for the listed dates and offer presentations for a campus based on the above assigned dates.***
